The high school opened in 1898 under the name “The Five-Year Liva High School.” It became the nine-year “Antalya Sultanisi” when the five-year system was abolished in 1916. It was converted from a Sultani into the modern “Antalya High School” in 1923. The building is still used as a school. The two-story masonry buildings facing Atatürk Street were built in the late 19th century. Both feature a basement and a central hall, and are covered with curbed roofs. The buildings are similar and have a wooden oriel window on the front façade. The roofs form a triangular pediment above the oriel windows. The date 1889 recorded on the rosette in the center of the pediment of the south building is probably the date of its construction. 1891 is written on the arch of the door of the north building. The recesses under the oriel windows provide entry to both buildings.
