The first AKMED Archaeology Summer School to be held in Perge ancient city this year, is intended for participation of eight undergraduate students from archaeology/art history departments of universities providing education in Turkey. Within the scope of education, theoretical archaeology and excavation science information will be given to the students.
Summer School courses will be given by members at Perge excavations in Perge. Summer School is free of charge. Candidates wishing to experience excavation and gain knowledge about Perge ancient city and regional archaeology are required to fill out the form given in the link below until Wednesday, July 12.

The program is open to undergraduate students studying in departments of archaeology/art history in Turkey. The program quota is determined as 8 people.
Candidates selected to participate in the program will be informed by e-mail on August 1, 2023.
Program Fee
The program is free of charge. During the program, accommodation in the excavation house, food and Antalya – Perge transportation will be provided by AKMED.
Participants will pay for intercity transportation to attend the summer school themselves.
