The excavations at Myra and its harbor at Andriake started in 2009. The data obtained since the beginning of the excavations and, in particular, the scientific findings from the last five years have provided new insights into these settlements and the entire archeology of Lycia. Many authentic finds, ranging from Chalcolithic ceramics and Hellenistic terracotta collections to many other small artifacts and unique examples of ancient architecture, give a clearer picture of the past of Myra and Andriake. This conference will explain the settlements of Myra and Andriake in light of these new findings.
