In the following years, the new popular culture triggered by historical novels and comics fueled by these policies; translation activities of classics and oppositions to them; the contribution of universities, academics, archaeologists or intellectuals to the field; it outlines the people’s view of Byzantium and, when viewed holistically, the threshold stones of Türkiye’s archaeology and ancient history journey as a Mediterranean country.
