Catalhoyuk is a key site for understanding the societies that lived in Anatolia during the Neolithic, about 9000 years ago. Between 1993 and 2018 an international team excavated and carried out research there and this work is reaching its final conclusions as the final publications are prepared and produced. Apart from a lot of data and mounting numbers of publications what are the key conclusions and advances that have been made. What can we say about how societies at that time live, interacted and believed?
