The square masjid was built of rubble-stone walls plastered with mud mortar and covered with a Turkish-style tiled roof. The current mosque was constructed after the masjid collapsed in 1971.

The mosque has two stories. The porticoes on the ground floor create a rectangular plan. The portico arches are made of carved stone. The upper floor has a square plan. The mosque has a mihrab, pulpit, rostrum, and fountain.
